Stacks Maintenance
Stacks Maintenance is responsible for the daily pick up and shelving of library materials throughout the Main Library. Over 10,000 volumes are shelved in a normal week. These include circulating books returned to the building; books taken from the shelves and used in the building; books used for interlibrary loan; and books returned from the ongoing inventory project. The goal is to shelve every volume that comes to Stacks within 24 hours.
If you cannot find a book in our online catalog on the shelf, please contact the Circulation Department for assistance.
