The Map Library's two Full Set of Application computers can print to a b/w letter-size printer, color letter-size printer, and a color HP plotter loaded with 36" wide paper. The printers are all located on 2-West. Printing costs are the same as in other computer labs. For more information about printing services in the MSU Libraries, see the Print, Plot, & Scan page.
Copy
The Map Library has a photocopier that can make copies up to 11" x 17" in size. Photocopies cost $0.10 per sheet. The machine takes dollar bills, coins, and library copy cards. The Copy Center on 2-West has a color copier that will make copies up to 11" x 17" in size. Most Map Library items can be checked out for in-building use only to take items to the Copy Center. Ask Map Library staff before removing anything from the Map Library.
Scan
The Map Library has a 18" x 24" color scanner available for use with items in the Map Library's collection. Scans cost $0.05 each, payable in cash or to a University account number. Please bring a USB drive or a writable CD for saving your files, as the computer can not save scanned images to the computer desktop. Media are also available for purchase in the Copy Center on 2-West. You may carry your images to a Full Set of Applications computer nearby for further editing and use.
More self-serve copying and scanning options are available in the Copy Center. Please refer to Scanning Options at the MSU Libraries (pdf) for a complete list of scanning options.
