Recall "Checked Out" Items

Please use this form to request that we recall CHECKED OUT material and hold it for you. For more information about MSU recall policies, please call Circulation at 517/355-2333.

What happens when this form is submitted? On the next business day, a "recall letter" will be sent to the borrower requesting return within 14 days. When the item is returned, it will be held and you will be notified. Keep checking the library's catalog for the item's status.

POLICY: When a recalled item is not returned within 14 days, the current borrower loses library privileges, is fined $1 per day, is billed for replacement, and is blocked from MSU enrollment, registration, diploma, and transcripts.

Item delivery is for MSU Faculty & Staff, Medical and Gull Lake students ONLY. Items will be held at owning location for all other borrowers, even if delivery is requested.

Delivery time cannot be predicted. Please note that packages have lower priority than envelopes in Campus Mail.
